The old building of the new Castle Manor, where the Aizpute Local History Museum is located, holds a lot of dreams, memories and historical evidence. For some, a visit to the museum will evoke memories of school years, for others - seeing the exhibited evidence of the past - the events of their youth and childhood. We have noticed that the museum expositions address each of our visitors very personally. Sometimes - only one object or photograph can cause a whole storm of memories and emotions for a person.
