TERĒZA STRAUTA

Terēza Strauta

I really enjoyed working on the English translation of this extremely huge information material. I can only admire the person who has so thoroughly studied the history of Aizpute, the stories of its houses and buildings. There is a huge interest in other things and places as well when feeling the town in this way, that are in this charming small town of Kurzeme, which over times has been both the political and economic center, and simply a beautiful and interesting place to be. Our knowledge is based on information, and there is so much information in this material, so much so that we want to walk all these bigger streets and smaller streets, look at places and buildings, delve into these stories, imagine scenes of the past, experience the magic of the town, and just enjoy the antiquity of today’s opportunity representations. Those who know how to appreciate the place and time in which they live are happy people, it seems to me that this is the case in Aizpute, and this extensive information will attract even more people to Aizpute's admirers and supporters who will come here to see it all. I wish everyone in Aizpute is doing extremely well, and that everyone can find what they are looking for here!
